ACE college credit

The American Council on Education (ACE) is a membership organization for U.S. accredited, degree granting institutions, that mobilizes the higher education community. ACE is a nationally recognized leader in the evaluation of workforce and military training, providing standards, practices, and tools that higher education institutions rely on.

Many colleges and universities across the nation, including two-year, four-year, public, and private colleges and universities recognize ACE credit recommendations, like Microsoft certifications, as applicable toward a post-secondary degree or certificate.

New Exams still include the performance-based format and are live-in-the-application.

The Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019 exams include multiple, smaller projects to assess student skills within Microsoft Office. Students are tested on one project at a time, once that project is complete they will move onto the next within the Microsoft Office Specialist program. These small projects test their skills as they would in the real world and validate their understanding of the Microsoft Office program functionality.

Exams from Home Test Candidate information

Exams from Home is our Compass delivery software served up in a virtual environment and accessed via the internet through a browser. You will communicate with your Exam Administrator (Proctor) to be administered a certification exam from a virtual machine (VM). The virtual sessions will be tailored to the exams you will be signed up to take, and the Compass or associated Live-in-the-Application software will not require any setup, download, or configuration on your personal device. Also, the Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019 exams have been mapped to one set of revised objective domains to reflect the skills required in today’s modern workplace. So, students are tested on the same exam no matter which Office application is being used
